No, not right now.

All monthly worksheets are written in English.

However, there are many online translators that you could use to translate a worksheet into another language. But, of course, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of any such online translation service.

I hope to roll out translated versions of the monthly worksheets for school-year 2027-2028 so that my monthly worksheets are available to kids who do not speak or read English.

My priority will be:

Spanish, Korean, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (traditional & simplified), Haitian Creole, and Russian.

I teach in New York City. These are the languages that the New York State Department of Education makes available to English Language Learners who are required to take New York State math tests during the school year.

FOR DESKTOP

Why Should I Order This?

Why does my child need monthly math problems?

Why are the monthly worksheets effective?

The Short Answer:

It's all about helping the kids remember the previously-learned content that they need to know for future math and science classes.

The Longer Answer:

During grades 6, 7, and 8, quite a bit of brain development takes place because the kids are constantly growing. Significant growth is taking place in the various "Memory Sections" within the brain. Since many memory skills and reasoning skills are still developing during the middle school years, it's very common for many middle school kids to simply forget previously-learned material.

In light of this, we cannot teach a math concept one week and then move on to other concepts without re-visiting the previously-taught concepts on a regular basis.

We must make sure that the kids retain all the math knowledge from middle school because all that knowledge is a prerequisite for the upcoming math and science that the kids will see in high school.

If the kids enter high school without a solid foundation in math, difficulty in both math and science during their high school years is virtually guaranteed.

By consistently working through the monthly problem sets, over time, the kids will gradually develop and reinforce that solid foundation in math that is needed for high school. The primary objective of the monthly worksheets is to constantly review previously-taught math concepts so that the kids are sufficiently prepared for the math and science that they will encounter during high school.

One key to success in math is repetition. Since math continuously builds upon itself, we cannot teach a math concept one week and then move on to other concepts without re-visiting the previously-taught concepts on a regular basis.

The monthly worksheets are effective because they are specifically designed to make sure the kids are constantly reviewing previously-taught math concepts.

When I create the math problems for each month's worksheet, I target important math concepts that routinely pose difficulty for the kids. The problems are specifically designed to address common mistakes and misunderstandings that the kids routinely have with middle school math.

The monthly review of previously-learned math concepts helps the kids remember those concepts. By remembering those important middle school math concepts, the kids develop the prerequisite knowledge that is essential for success in math and science during high school.
